Longest Day 72-Hole Challenge

Huge congratulations to Club Captain, Mark Tumber and his team of 10 SMRGC Members who completed the Longest Day 72-Hole Challenge on Friday 21st June

The Herculean effort began at just before 4:30am and the final putt dropped 16 hours later at 20:28

The Day was organised in aid of the Captain's chosen Charity, Curly's Farm and raised a fantastic amount although at the time of writing this the final amount is not yet known 

Mark was joined by immediate Past Captain, Steve Golby, Club Chairman, Martin Johansen, Dean Coulls, Debbie Trott, Dan Ellis, Perry Wraight, Faye Golby, Paul Ambrose, Shaun McKenna and Mark Cordier

The Day could not have gone ahead without the help and support of a number of Volunteers and Members who kept the team fed and watered throughout as well as offering morale support and drumming up donations

All in all, a great day was had by all although there were some soe limbs on Saturday morning
