Points to highlight are that there has been an average rainfall over the past 7 years of 796mm (last line).  In the last 12 months we have had 1045mm (blue). Four of the last 12 months have had over 50% more than average rainfall (red).  Only two of the last 12 months have had less than average rainfall.(green).  I hope this information provides some context for decisions to close or permit carry only this winter. For further context, Littlestone (a links course) has been closed from last Monday to Sunday as a consequence of the heavy rain they received the previous weekend and top-ups during the following week.
